ERIE GIVES DAY 2021

The annual online community event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Erie Gives Day is annually hosted by the Erie Community Foundation to collect donations to local non-profit organizations. Proceeds from this event have given the Sight Center of Northwest PA the opportunity to serve its mission of preventing blindness and promoting independence for those with vision loss.

Thanks to generous donors, the Sight Center has been able to provide 8,000 pre-school children with FREE vision screenings.  Additionally, blind and visually impaired youth can attend Sports Camps with peers, hundreds of community members are learning the connections between Type 2 diabetes and vision loss through participation in the National Diabetes Program, and older blind adults are receiving the services they need to live independent lives.

It is so simple to donate! Visit www.eriegives.org during the 12-hour window to ensure that you get the biggest bang for your buck… when the Erie Community Foundations and other dedicated sponsors make pro-rated donation matches! With much gratitude and hope for an ever-brightening future, we invite you to consider a donation to the Sight Center of Northwest PA so that we can continue our mission Erie County and its surrounding counties!
